Is it required to release the budget updates

Dear PS Guru's

is it required to release the budget updates? please suggest me about on this, i am searching in help documents but i could not find any solution about on the releasing strategy of budget updates.

Hello,

Not sure if it is clear your question :

1) you can configure the budget profile in order to it  need or not be released

2) if it is released you need enter in CJ30( original budget) or CJ37 supplement...and then release it in CJ32, not needed release all budget only the part that it is needed

I think there is no release strategy for Budget.

Explore if you can think of using user status for releasing Budget...

Hi,

As per the process Original Budget will be assigned in CJ30 , And it will be released in CJ32 t code.

Budget  updates will include Supplement.Transfers, Return. etc.

And the Current Budget value will be the updated budget after all the changes in the updates.
