Exception while creating end points (Tech. monitoring Config. SolMan 7.1)

Hello,

I am getting an error when performing the configuration for Technical Monitoring in SolMan 7.1, in the End-User Experience section.

The error is "CX_SRT_WSP_CONFIG exception while creating endpoints". The details of the error is basically nothing. Here is a screenshot:

This is happening on our sandbox system which has SolMan 7.1 totally configured and functioning apart from the Technical Monitoring tools.

I am not sure how to correct this issue. I believe I need to perhaps fix something in the transaction SOAMANAGER but I'm new to that and unsure where to start.

I did see that and I ran that report it recommended but that didn't change anything, unfortunately.

Hi John,

That's unfortunate.

Don't you have a DEV SSM with the same issue where you could adjust things in SOAmanager without it having a big impact?

I opened a message with SAP and they gave me this simple and elegant solution:

"It appears that the web service configuration has not yet been executed and/or the

authentication type has not yet been set. Please do the following:

- Navigate to step 2 in System Preparation "Set Authentication Types for WS"

- Click on the link "Start Webdynpro"

- Select tab "API Settings"

- Select the checkboxes of all authentication methods and press the save button

- re-execute the EEM Setup step.

Viola!
