error during export from ESB and IB

hello,

I'm working with a new project with SAp PI 7.3.

when we try to export objects from ESB or IB we have this error:

Export failed: Internal error during pvc call: Getting an instance of com.tssap.dtr.pvc.util.sql.GenericSQLClassFactory is not allowed because the DB platform is not yet initialized. Make sure that the initialize method is called before getting an instalce of this class.
See error logs for details

We tried to restart systems without success.

Any suggestions?

The issue is resolved after updating the following components to latest patch level.

(MESSAGING, SAP_XIAF, SAP_XIESR, SAP_XIGUILIB and SAP_XITOOL

You can try to export ESB Objects and IB objects in separate and different Tasks.

Hello Alex,

Are you using a Sybase database? If yes, you should deploy the latest patches for all the PI Software Components (MESSAGING, SAP_XIAF, SAP_XIESR, SAP_XIGUILIB and SAP_XITOOL). There is a known issue which causes this same error and it should be resolved with the latest patches for your current SP release.

Hi Alex,

We have a note for this issue - 1771644 Entrpise Service Repository exports fails with Sybase, HANA. However, it is not available at the moment. I have contacted the developer for an update as to why and will update when I get a reply.

Deploying the latest XI patches as I described in my previous reply has resolved this error for others.

SAP_XIESR SP06 Patch 8

SAP_XIGUILIB SP06 Patch 4

Hi Alex,

Unfortunately, at this moment we don't have a patch for SP06 (we do for other SP's but just not SP06). But the SP06 patch is in process and should be available within the next week. I will update you when I get more news about the release date.
