Shipping terms in SRM

Hi gurus,

Is there any way I can add the shipping terms in my PO. Like I want to say to my vendor that these material should be delivered under express category, or ordinary one day delivery and all.

The shipping notification in the item details tab of the PO gives no shipping notification in our system. Whether this is the same I mentioned earlier ? Ifso how to activate . I see only the number ranges for shipping notification in SPRO.

Can anybody explain in simple language?

We are working on SRM 5.0 server, 4.0 component version, 0007 patch level.

Hi Sridhar

You have two options - both are easy to implement:

1) Create a Text Type for PO and add it in Text schema (IMG for Text Schema).

In PO header, it appears in Document Tab.

2) Create a custom field and add fixed values in the data element (check note 672960). This sounds like ABAP work but even functional consultants can do. This will look like an additional field and hence easy for the users to operate.
