I have a generic clarification regard to UNSPSC codes. This codes is a standard codes used across all nations of the globe or only country / region specific.
Please light your idea on this.

As per my knowledge, UNSPSC is not the only standard that fis ollowed but we can say one of the widely followed standards. There are others like RosettaNet and eCl@ss etc..

I suppose, this stadardization differs from industry to industry. But, there is no need to worry as these schemas can be defined and easily be mapped to customer specific internal product categories in SAP
