one line item with 2 packing materials

Hello all,

I have query, my client requirement is

Single line item have to pack with  two packing materials i.e( product= small nuts, pack mat 1:polthin cover, pack mat2: wood box OR  any some other) in delivery.

Present they are using single packing material with automatic process. So in standard SAP is there any option for above requirement either manual OR automatic.

Please provide any enhancement methods also.

Dear,

You can very well accomplish this in standard SAP as automatically or else manually as by your Configuration Settings .Maintain another Packing Material in POP1 and do POF1 also for that Material and raise a sales order .
