SPM Data sources - how can change them to delta capable ?

Hi All,

We have implemented SPM Extractor kit ECC and generated all data sources from content.

Replicated them in BW system and came to know that these data sources are capable for FULL Load extraction.

Anybody get a chance to make these data sources as delta capable?

If so, Please let me know how did you achieve delta capable...

Hi,

In the info-package of the data source, the dates can be mentioned and based on this the delta extraction is possible. Note that not all data sources have date range and hence delta extraction is possible only in some of the data sources (like material, vendor, PO, Contract, Invoice etc).

There is also a standard logic which automatically decrements the dates and it works as below.

• Assume the initial load was done for 01.04.2013 - 31.12.9999
• When you start the load tomorrow (18.04.2013), the dates are automatically adjusted to <<Last load date -5> to 31.12.9999 which is is 27.03.2013 - 31.12.9999

This way the delta loads will be performed using data sources and there is no need to manually change the dates in info package.
