Problem in updation of register RG23A part 1 & 2

Hi,

We are following the returns process in the following way:

1) Create returns PO

2) GR against PO with movement type 161

3) Excise invoice using J1IS

4) Print out using J1IV

5) Credit memo using MIRO.

After posting the excise invoice when we are updating the register RG23A part 1, then in the "balance quantity stock" column, the quantities that we have returned are getting added to the stock & not subtracted. Kindly tell the solution to this.

We are also doing the returns process through 122 movement type for testing. In that after the RG23A part 2 register is geeting updated, the excise values are not subtracted from the registers for the returned quantity. Kinly also provide the solution to this.

Regards

Hello,

Doing vendor returns will not reduce the qty from J_1IPART1 table
Instead it will update the table with ISSUE indicator which inturn
will negate the receipt entry.

Please check in J_1IPART2 table for the J1IS excise for the register
type. It will be "D". Only when you run J2IUN it will get updated
under "A" , "C" or "P" and then accordingly will appear in the
excel extraction.

Hi,

The debit or credit control is defined in Specify Excise Accounts per Excise Transaction settings. So you have to check the transaction type selected during the J!IS posting. For 161 What is the transaction type system selects?
