How to identify my SAP version?

Hi,

I need to identify my system's version in order to download right installation CDs.

System>Status shows the component version is "SAP ERP Central Component 5.0". What packages should I add to my Download basket to reinstall it from the scratch?

ECC 5.0 is based on Netweaver 04  so you need to go to the SWDC and look for SAP Netweaver 04

Installations and Upgrades -> SAP NETWEAVER -> SAP NETWEAVER 04

ECC 5.0 is based on NW04 (SAP_BASIS 640).

ECC 6.0 is based on NW 7.0 (SAP_BASIS 700)

EHP1 for SAP ERP 6.0 is based on NW 7.0 (SAP_BASIS 700)

EHP2 for SAP ERP 6.0 is based on NW 7.0 (SAP_BASIS 700)

EHP3 for SAP ERP 6.0 is based on NW 7.0 (SAP_BASIS 700)

EHP4 for SAP ERP 6.0 is based on NW 7.01 (SAP_BASIS 701)

EHP5 for SAP ERP 6.0 is based on NW 7.02 (SAP_BASIS 702)

EHP6 for SAP ERP 6.0 is based on NW 7.03 (SAP_BASIS 731)

NW 7.01 means EHP1 for SAP NW 7.0

NW 7.02 means EHP2 for SAP NW 7.0

NW 7.03 means EHP3 for SAP NW 7.0
