BED, Edu cess and Hcess calculation

Please can someone tell me the method to calculate the BED, Edu cess and H cess amounts (CR/DR) on daily basis. Our client needs customized report and for this and the standard extraction procedure(j2i4) is not of any use.

Is there any other method to calculate the same.

Please use Internationalization and Unicode for CIN related queries.

Hi,

BED or Basic Excise duty is calculated on your base price where as your Ecess and SHEcess is calculated on your BED. This is the normal calculation.

Sales tax such as CST/VAT is Calculated on (Base Price + Excise) total.

Also there is no transaction such as J2I4. Hope you are referring to J2I5.

What is the report you are planning to create ?

i need to show

open balance, credit amount, total amount (open + credit) debit amount, closing balances for:

1) BED

2) ECESS

3) HCESS

Its a similar report to PLA (personal ledger account)

Since the standard script does not show these figures and neither is the extraction done in this format.

Hi,

You don't have any std. reports available with the above information.

However, if you can get the details from the Part 2 table - J_1IPART2 table. Based on the requirement you have to filter the balances based on ETT such as GRPO, DLFC etc.

Also using the transaction J2I5 and J2I6 you can extract the register balances and print the same.

You can also check the J2I9 transaction which will give an abstract of your raw materials/capital goods.
