Stock booking through sales orders

Hi Team,

Currently we are booking stock manually based on sales order from sales team...once the sales order is released, we are booking the order quantity based on sales track sheet.. it consumes more time to book the stock by checking MMBE for individual sales order...is there any process by which we can book the stock from sales order itself,ie, once the sales order is created, if there is any stock that will move to receipt reservation.. can anyone advise me on it? how can we automate this process...

You can reserve stock in sale order. Please search in Google with search term how to reserve stock in Sale order. This is possible through standard.

Hi,

   There are two processes to determine the Stocks in the sales order.

MTO- Make to order process which uses strategy group-20 and the stock is Allocated to only specific sales order

MTS- Mate to Stock process which uses strategy group- 10 this is not specific to any sales order,the stock will be Determined automatically to any sales order based on the availability check .
