SAP - PS Status triggered by actual date

I am looking for some help on the above situation.

Is it possible to have a WBS Element that has a status triggered on a set date.

For example:

If I wanted the status to be released automatically on a future date, 4/27/2013, is this capable of being done automatically on this date?

Hi Gareth,

As per your requirement such functionality is not available in the standard system.

We can schedule the Future date planning among the options:(  Scheduling Type) :  Forward, Backward,Only Capacity requirement, Current date, Forwards in time, Backwards in time. But we cant set the status Release automatically as per the future date, We had to set the status manually among the options: Never, From Release, Immediately. ( Procurement Type ) .
