Sample calculation and determination

I am new to QM, have read number of threads in forum on this subject and SAP help

I have this scenario when the GR for PO is done and inspection is to be done for Barrels.

Liquid - Barrel	If <10 drums, sample 100ml from every drum.
	If > 10 drums, random sample collected from ten drums with 100ml each.

Please help how to configure this so that system can determine sample automatically depending on the number of barrels received.

Hi

Create Sample drawing procedure through QPV2, define formula in Acc. to the formula.

Create Sampling procedure through QDV1 with fixed sample quantity. Assign sample drawing procedure inm inspection plan header & sampling procedure in inspection plan item.

It will work as per your requirement.

Hi,

For your requirement, you need to create sampling scheme by using tcode QDP1.

Tick on without valuation parameter & Inspection severities 4.

In this you need to maintained following scheme,

Lot size                       Sample size

1                                            1

10                                          1

& more than 10 drums maintained Sample size (as per your random sampling)

After creating this sampling scheme, then assign this scheme to Sampling Drawing procedure by using tcode QPV2, maintained Acc.to smplng scheme field in primary samples tab.
