Volume limitations in using Value Mapping

Dear Experts,

We have a requirement to maintain around 3 lakh records in value mapping. I would like to know if anyone has faced problems in maintaining such huge data in value mapping?

Hi Varun,

In my current project, we have almost the same number of value mapping (VM) records maintained (PI7.3 version) and the project is live. I do not see any issues. Value mapping execution via mapping is much much faster compared to any other lookup such as ukms(abap), jdbc, soap etc...

Questions

1) what kind of data you are maintaining in VM? e.g., abap ukms data

2) how you are maintaining? e.g., via an abap report or a java program using portal

3) how many average add/changes to VM records in a day/week?
