Hi,
I work for Winshuttle LLC and we are a certified SAP Partner. We are developing a new release of our product and I am wondering what kinds of SAP Icons we can use in the product. It will have a MS Office like Ribbon, with several actions that tie directly into SAP.
We have one Ribbon command that will allow a user to "Logon to SAP". I would ideally like to use the SAP Logon icon, or a derivation of it for this command icon. Specifically, this is the icon I'd like to use;
Are there any restrictions or licensing issues that I need to be aware of? Where would i find such information? Or who can I speak with to get rights to use this and/or any other icons that SAP includes in their products.
Additional icons that we may look to incorporate, we found at http://www.sapdesignguild.org/resources/icons_sap/index.htm, but there do not seem to be any guidelines around Business Partner use of these icons in 3rd party applications.
Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

Hi Skate,
I believe SAP icons are copyrighted and you are not supposed to use them.
Please find Partner Branding Guidelines here:
http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-14053. And since you are a partner, your PSA should be able to provide more details on this topic.
Best regards,
David
