R3trans - problems with database connect !?

Hi,

I've problems to start my SAP System.

MaxDB 7.9

R3trans -d display the following error:

This  is R3trans version 6.24 (release 720 - 19.03.13 - 20:13:03 ).

unicode enabled version

sizeof(Selection_t) = 272

2EETW169 no connect possible: "DBMS = ADABAS D                                --- DBNAME = ' '"

R3trans finished (0012).

The "trans.log" said:

.....*** ERROR => Connect to database failed, rc = -4008 (POS(1) Unknown user name/password combination)

....

....

....

.... 2EETW169.....

I've cleared and created xuser with user <sid>adm and sqd<sid>.
SAO<sid> as DEFAULT
CONTROL

SUPERDBA

In MaxDB Database Studio it is possible lo log in with control and superdba with passwords created before.

Whre also can I set a password for user "control"?

At dbmcli I can connect with the passwords set with sqd<sid> and <sid>adm.
Should I restart the dadabase?

Hi Holger,

In database studio you can login with control and superdba passwords which you had.

Pls try and check.

control ans superdba works fine....

There's a problem with the schema user "sap<sid>". I've reset the user an gave him again a new password - R3trans -d works fine......
