Hi,
we have a enviroment of central instance, database instance, 2 dialog instances.
database instance and 2 dialog instances are a part of load distrubution.
i have seen that most the of the times central insance response time is high.
i have checked in ST06 (CPU, Memory Utilization) are normal.
i have checked the ST03N also but i cannot able to find any reason.
please help me to analyse the root cause of hish response time.
thanks
Bala.
Hi Bala
there are several reason why the central (or other instances) slow down the response time..
How is the hardware&network configuration? Are all the systems in a private network? Virtualized or physical?
Let me know more details

Hi Andrea,
Sorry for late reply,
I have checked and monitored with both hard ware team and Network team, there is no fluctuation and it is Private network. and it is physical.
But now i have found some of the customized transcation have higt response DB time, do we can albe to do any thing on that?
please suggest.
Regards,
Balamurali
Hi Balamurali
usually the answer is yes. You should first collect from func consultants or func spec doc what these transactions do. (imagine if they are working against tonnes of record without reason)
Then you reproduce the sceanario in your test system and you put under trace the guilty transactions
Last but not least, from the trace log you should implement the related fix (usually there is program code not correctly written )
let me know if you need more help
