Query regarding CTS+ configuration in PI 7.1

Dear Experts,

Currently we are having file system as transport system for transporting the objects .

we are planning to configure CTS+ . My query is if we configure CTS+ , can we still work with File system .

Does CTS+ replaces the file system ?

can you please give me the docs supporting teh answer

Hi,

I don't think it should be a problem. We are working on PI 7.3 & we do transports with CTS. However, if I try to export objects from ESR by right clicking on a namespace, I get two options of CTS & File as shown below:

Hi Manaswitha,

you can use both file and CTS+ transport.

we used CTS+ and file transport method for transporting the objects when CTS+ is configured.

Configuring CTS+ does not mean that you can not use file transport.

As explained by adarsh you will get two options transport using CTS and File System every

time you transport the ESR and ID objects.
