Hi guys,

1)what errors we get while importing requests.

2) what are the notes what is the diff between sap notes and oss notes.how to apply the notes.clarify my doubts.

Hi,

1. Errors while importing the transport requests.

-> Connectivity errors (Landscape)

-> Data errors

Connectivity related errors will come in the landscape and authorization errors will come for TMSADM userid. (i.e. TMSADM userid may be distrubed)

We can recognize and analyze the dataerrors with RC codes (return codes).

Return codes

Rc=4 - ended with warnings

Rc=6 - Post processing required

Rc=8 - Ended with errors

Rc=12 or more - transport terminated

2. As per my knowledge SAP notes and OSS notes are same. (Earlier it s called as OSS notes)

Notes are basically two types. one is corrective notes and the other one is informative notes.

The note itself will give you the applying/ corrective process.
