Best practice for uploading WBS BoM from external systems

Hi

We are using the project system (PS) for our engineer to order (ETO) products. The engineering is done in external engineering systems. The design is built progressively. We are looking for the best practices to upload these progressively built BoM's in SAP as WBS BoM's. Creating and maintaining the WBS BoM's manually is not an option as volume is huge and prone to mistakes.

Pl suggest the best ways to upload (create / modify / delete) the WBS BoM's from external engineering systems.
