PM-Default storage location as per Order Type

Hi Friends,

We have one requirement is that want to default storage location as per the order type.

Example:-1) While creating PM01 order type the default storage Location in component tab should be-0001

                 2) and When creating PM02 order type the default storage Location in component tab should be-0002.

is it possible default storage location as per PM order type.

Nowhere in Configuration, you are maintaining the allowed combination of storage location & PM order type.

So, develop Z-table for defining that combination & develop a logic using user exit while selecting components.

There is no standard technique. That's the reason I have shared that user exit.

You can use user-exit CNEX0027 (Plant, storage loc. finding for comp.) to default the Storage Location using your own customer-specific logic.
