HI,

which version of business objects are you using?

also, check in Mobile14 folder for MobileOTA14.war

Check if it is deployed under Tomcat6/webapps

The Mobile Server is currently not supported on AIX.

You need to deploy a Windows server if you stay on the SP04 version.

If you can upgrade to SP05, you can also choose to deploy the Mobile Server on Linux.

The PAM has the details:

http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/boc/articles?rid=/webcontent/uuid/e01d4e05-6ea5-2c10-1bb6-a8904ca76411

(Mobile BI is part of the platform PAM doc)

Hi Karsten,

Thank you for your support.

Do I have to install a new BO BI Plattform 4.0 on Windows for this?

Any other simple solution?

Regards.

The BI platform can stay on AIX - you only need the app server on Windows.

A hybrid deployment is supported.

Hi Karsten,

Do I need a Windows Server and a new license key for these?

On the other hand How much RAM memory can take this App and wich steps should I follow to install?

Best Regards

Hi Atul,

I have found that it is possible to install the app as hybrid installation:

You just need to choose Tomcat and MobileService from the Setup and

during installation it would ask for CMS details which you could

provide of AIX machine.

Once the Setup is installed you could access url http://

<windows_host_name>:port/MobileOTA14 from your blackberry device.

Now my question is how I can access from outside the LAN of my company?

Do I have to install this mobile server in the DMZ?

Regards

Hi Daya,

I am not able to watch the first thread ..it says unauthorized.. any clue?

On the other hand.. the folder in <BO install directory>/Mobile14/ does not exist!

I can't deploy the *.war's files if I don't have them.

Best Regards
