Has anyone succeeded in using this webservice: http://www.webservicex.net/globalweather.asmx?wsdl ? I need a webservice that can return some weather forecast from Denmark, and this one works if I test it from www.webservicex.net, but if I test the webservice through VC, it does not return any values.
Please either help me with an explanation to the problem (is it because the returned value is an xml-file with multiple values that cannot be understood by VC?) or help me with a link to another weather webservice that can return Danish weather.
Any help is greatly appreciated and will be rewarded.
What I understood from the Weblog is that, testing the Web Service from your PC in one thing, whereas accessing it from VC (whithin your enterprise network) is another.
While this is acceptable for you to access the Web Service on your own, some checks have to be done before granting access to the Web Service remote server to your Enterprise Portal. This is the exact point of the firewall/proxy settings that has to be done through the Visual Administrator.
