Backup and Restore Strategy

Hello All,

I am looking for a best practices (or Guidelines) on Backup and Restore strategy for a Solution Manager System.

Is someone have that kind of document or links ?

The backup/restore strategy mainly depends your the business requirements.. What is the impact for your business when Solution Manager is out of order?

Do you need HA for Solution Manager, or can you survive easily without for one day or maybe even one week?

Based on that you need to define the strategy..

We can easily survive if Solution Manager is Out of Order a one (but not really more)

In that case it would be sufficient to have a simple backup/restore strategy(daily online backup + redo logs).. You could consider to use the non-productive Solution Manager host for a back-out in case of hardware failures.
