Hi Adam,

Ref: OpenText Archive Server 10.1.1 Release Notes

IPv6 support

IPv6 addresses in place of host names are not supported. It must be ensured that

host names are resolved to IPv6 addresses and that reverse lookup works

properly.

Hope this helps.

But if we perform the same in SAP GUI 720 it is working fine. please help I tried looking for the compatibilty in gui 730 with other s/w but could not find any concrete document

Hi Adam,

As Samuli has pointed out, you can find this information in our Release Notes, located on the OpenText Knowledge Center.

Archive Server 10.5.0: https://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/cs.dll/Open/33716640

Archive Server 10.1.1: https://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/cs.dll/Open/18921550

Archive Server 9.7.1: https://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/cs.dll/Open/14697862

  • "IPv6 is supported only in pure IPv6 environments on Windows 2008, where IPv4 is disabled completely (including DNS)."

Thank you for your question!

Maybe Former Member can help you. If you have a support contract with OpenText, you should be able to find the information in the Archive Server documentation which is provided by OpenText (not SAP).
