Hi Gurus,
Hi,
Currently we are using Virsa Compliance Calibrator 4 on our ECC Box (Ehp 5 NW 702). Version :
VIRSA 400_700 0011 SAPK-47011INVIRSA
SAP_BASIS 702 0009 SAPKB70209
SAP_APPL 605 0003 SAPKH60503
We are planning to upgrade to GRC Access Control 10. But we dont want to have this in a separate system. We want to use AC10 in the existing
ECC system. Please suggest a roadmap.
I guess this will be a Delta upgrade for the Plug In.
As per OSS Note#1504132 - Delta Upgrade to GRCPINW V1000_700 is possible -
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Source Release: SAP_BASIS 700 and VIRSANH 400_700
Target release: SAP_BASIS 700 and GRCPINW V1000_700
If we take this approach how to handle the Migration from the Existing Virsa 4? As a pre requisite in the Migration Guide, The back end system should have AC 10 Plugin installed before the Export.
So if we upgrade the plug in addon in the ECC system which has Virsa 4 installed, and export the data...then can we install GRC AC10 on the same ECC system ?
Thanks,
Samik
Hi,
We are facing similar issue while trying to install SAP GRC plugin on ECC backend system.
The backend system has SAP Virsa 4.0 installed and would like to confirm if the co-esxistance of SAP GRC 10 plugin and SAP Virsa is possible on same system.
Thanks & Regards,
Abhimanu Kumar Singh

Hi Samik
I realise this is not the question you are asking but have you considered the implications of the GRC system sitting on your ECC when it comes to enhancement packs, upgrades, change freezes, etc?
The SAP installation guide makes this comment in Section 3 - Preparing for the Installation
"CAUTIONAC/PC/RM 10.0 should not be installed with SAP Business Suite or with any SAP Business Suite components such as ERP, SCM, CRM, and SRM."
