Dear John,

The WWI.ini file is too large to comment here. However, I can list out the basic settings which needs to be addressed in this file. The MS word timeout for the word file must be XXX seconds. This may vary because, it is the time required to create a word document by the WWI server. I have kept the time to 300 seconds beyond which the process may terminate. The printer settings must be assigned to your local PS printer which supports postscript files.

Inorder that any line must be active or the system to read the settings, remove the semicolon before the line item.

HI John,

There is no specific settings required in WWi.ini file for MS word application, unless you have some additional requirements.

Maintaining path is important in "WWi.ini", so that MS word can recognize the WWI directories graphics and language.

This path differs based on your local or central installation of WWI.

If it is local setup, directed towards your local "C: " folder, and in central that directs towards file server.

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_46c/helpdata/en/35/6f2898268b2239e10000009b38f984/content.htm

You can control different objects like spool, language, colours, fonts, symbol expansions, etc., if you have additional requirements.

for general usage, standard settings in "WWI.INI", more than sufficient.
