Standard Field to Required Field ?

Hi ,

I am new to CLM, I want to know by any chance we can make a standard field to required field ?

Yes, Via Page Customization

There are 2 ways to do so...

Page Customization

• Go to Setup --> System Setup --> User Interface --> Page Customization
• In that field you can select the object name where you want to make the field required (e.g. Project projects.projects.ui.buyside).
• Click Edit (note: make sure to have the correct security profiles enabled).
• Add Field / Tab / Table Column etc

WYSIWYG

The other way is to use the WYSIWYG option in the setup area, where you can change certain field labels and/or make fields required.

• Setup --> System Setup --> WYSIWYG Page Customization
• Choose the object e.g. RFx (note: you have to then also select the respective document type)
• Edit the fields as required
