I'm having an issue with LONG_TEX at the moment, basis will be applying the note to fix that, but I have a question. In the provisioning tab, there is a non-editable field "Role Exists" that if is equal to "No", seems to cause the dreaded "Assert error" when the role is selected on an access request. Can anyone tell me how this field gets changed to "Yes"?

I would assume once you run the synch the GRC repository knows the role is in the environment so it can provision.
Assert error appears all throughout GRC - if your configuration is incomplete or wrong or master data is missing the errors do not get handled in some areas very well.
