Consuming more swap and paging memory

hello all,

two of the app instances consuming more swap and paging memory and with CI no issues.

from one app

Hi Geeta,

Improper tuning of SAP buffers on these application servers could be one of the reasons.

Secondly there is no proper load balancing configured and hence most of the users run their jobs in these 2 applications servers.

Could you share screenshots from following transactions

1) ST02 ( for both the app servers)

2) SMLG  ( Goto -> Load Distribution )

Hello Geeta,

This could be being caused by different usage of each instance. For instance, depending on the jobs that run at each instance, or what users run on each instance. This will determine how much memory each instance will use/require.
