Hi,

currently I install a ERP6.0/EhP6 on a Windows2008 server. I get a error message in the phase Input ABAP.

The errors are (import_monitor.java):

....

java version "1.6.0_31"

Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 6.1.038)

SAP Java Server VM (build 6.1.038 1.6-b04, Feb 14 2012 11:04:31 - 61_REL - optU - windows amd64 - 6 - bas2:166762 (mixed mode))

Required system resources are missing or not available:

  Import directory '\\SAPDEMO020\BackUp\SAPDEMO021\ehp6\org\exp_1\DATA_UNITS\EXPORT_1' does not exist;

  Import directory '\\SAPDEMO020\BackUp\SAPDEMO021\ehp6\org\exp_1\DATA_UNITS\EXPORT_2' does not exist;

  Import directory '\\SAPDEMO020\BackUp\SAPDEMO021\ehp6\org\exp_1\DATA_UNITS\EXPORT_3' does not exist;

  Import directory '\\SAPDEMO020\BackUp\SAPDEMO021\ehp6\org\exp_1\DATA_UNITS\EXPORT_4' does not exist;

  Import directory '\\SAPDEMO020\BackUp\SAPDEMO021\ehp6\org\exp_1\DATA_UNITS\EXPORT_5' does not exist;

  Import directory '\\SAPDEMO020\BackUp\SAPDEMO021\ehp6\org\exp_1\DATA_UNITS\EXPORT_6' does not exist;

  Import directory '\\SAPDEMO020\BackUp\SAPDEMO021\ehp6\org\exp_2\DATA_UNITS\EXPORT_7' does not exist;

  Import directory '\\SAPDEMO020\BackUp\SAPDEMO021\ehp6\org\exp_2\DATA_UNITS\EXPORT_8' does not exist;

  Import directory '\\SAPDEMO020\BackUp\SAPDEMO021\ehp6\org\exp_2\DATA_UNITS\EXPORT_9' does not exist;

  Import directory '\\SAPDEMO020\BackUp\SAPDEMO021\ehp6\org\exp_2\DATA_UNITS\EXPORT_10' does not exist;

  Import directory '\\SAPDEMO020\BackUp\SAPDEMO021\ehp6\org\exp_2\DATA_UNITS\EXPORT_11' does not exist.

.......

but the files are here!

The problem is, the folder \\SAPDEMO020\BackUp is shared from sapdemo020 to sapdemo021 and on sapdemo021 is the drive Y in sapdemo021...

I think this is the problem, but how is it to solved?

Best regards

Richard

Hi Riachard,

Could you copy these DVDs to local drives instead of shared drive. It should work this way.

Incase you want to go with shared drive, ensure that it is shared and has full permission to everyone.

Hope this helps.

Hi Deepak Kori

thanks for your input.

I check the shared properties and change under the Passwort Protection (Network and Sharing Center) the following points:

- Public folder sharing

- Password protected sharing

and the installation works.

Thank you - Richard
