I'm a bit confused, If we by the program VEA some say I can save to different file format like the Vds file format, but we also got the ansver that we need the "Generator" to be able to save as or export files.

We got the VEA version 7.0 but now it seems that we can't just uppdate this to 7.1 we must buy a compleate new licens, of some reason?

But can VEA save to, for example to Vds file format without the Generator?

Why is ther no trial version of VEA as ther was earlier?

This was a useful program that we have used for many years. But is this (SAP) the end of a affordable program?

Hi Thomas,

Yes VEA 7.0 can save as VDS but this functionality was included in one of the later maintenance patch. This maintenance patch and VEA 7.1 can be found in SAP Service Marketplace (SMP). I would suggest you talk to your Account Executive and obtain access to SMP, if you don't have it already.
