Is it possible to remove the web dispatcher?

Hi everybody, I have found a lot of information about how web dispatcher works, how to configure it and so. Before we had two dialog instances, but now we have remove one of them, so that we don't need any balance function between instances. I wonder, what would happened whether we also remove wedbispatcher? Is it possible? which could be the consequences? (I haven't found any information about that). Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Hi Santiago,

The web dispatcher is mostly used as a load balancer or a reverse proxy in DMZ for security purpose. Specifically in your case, with only one instance, you don't need the web dispatcher unless your security requirements necessitate it. Without the web dispatcher, you can access the server directly.
