Issue with the Installation of sup version 2.2

Hello all,

I have been trying to install SUP 2.2 and once i run the setup (.exe) file, the sup installation is initialized but then i get a error stating:

"cannot find file .installImageFileSize.txt to run install image validation.Install image may be corrupt.Download a new copy of the install image".

Please guide me to solve this issue.

It seems the install package is missing the file reported from the 'modules' folder.

If you create a file with that name in that folder or use the one I attached here, the installer should work properly.

The image is being refreshed to correct the problem.  Hopefully the update will be available soon.

Today I checked on SAP market place. update is available with bundle number: 51046204

I have downloaded and check for the installImageFileSize it is now available

File installImageFileSize.txt is at the top level of the installer image.  If it is missing, then the 2.2 install image has been corrupted.  Solution is to download a new copy of the install image.

I have download the fresh copy of SUP server 2.2 32 bit but still the same problem...

Here I am mentioning the package bundle number for your reference: 51045897

Under this bundle, as you mention that "installImageFileSize" is at the top level.

I do not find this text file but I do find the "installImageFileList" at the top level. Please suggest wht is the difference between this two file.

Please suggest what should be the possible solution for this.

Thanks for your reply David.

We downloaded the SUP 2.2 32-bit installer twice successfully.

Both the times the same issue was observed while starting the installation. 'installImageFileSize.txt' is not visible at the top level within this bundle.

Some information on this is given below:

1. Target OS version – Windows 7 Enterprise SP1
2. Bundle number - 51045897
3. Download file size – 812, 630 KB
4. File size in Service Market Place – 812, 630 KB

Kindly suggest a solution for the same.

This issue is observed with the 32-bit installer of SUP Runtime.

I have also stopped at the same problem.

It happend when I tried to install "51045897(Sybase Unwired Platform 2.2 Runtime Server 32-Bit)".
