Title : Need to change the Release User of automatically created SOLMAN Jobs.
Dear Experts,
We have the following jobs getting executed in Solution Manager.
** Jobs are listed at end of the discussion.
Actually, while installing and performing SOLMAN_SETUP, we have used a user by name XXXX with appropriate rights (SAP_ALL / SAP_NEW) to perform this. Accordingly all these jobs are released using the user XXXX.
Problem:
As a Administration procedure, now we have to lock this XXXX user and deactivate it.
So we plan to create a new user YYYY and change all these jobs from XXXX to YYYY.
With regard to performing this, I need to know the following answers :
1. Is it OK if we do this.. Or are there any side-effects ?
2. If yes, how to change the User for these jobs. ?
Thanks & Best Regards
Ragu

Hi Vivek,
Thankyou very much for your response.
I explored it indeed. I also hope it will do the JOB.
But not so much documentation about different scenarios in which we can use the Transaction.
As I can't just try it out because there is no test environment currently available.
So we plan to do a backup and then try it during some weekend.
But before that I am trying to collect some information from people who have
successfully carried out using SM_CONFIG_JOBS or by other way...
If you have used SM_CONFIG_JOBS, kindly share for what requirement
have you used it and kindly explain the outcome also.
Thanks & Regards
Ragu
