Back ground Job running but status not seen in sm37

Hi. Gurus.

In my SAP system a background job is running for a long time and while running it is not showing

the status in SM37. What could be the reason and please help on what action to be taken for long

running jobs.

Basis Gurus please help.

So you mean it is showing active in sm37 but not updating job log ?

If yes please check the sm50 and see the work procross log.

and also please provide screen shot of this.

Hi. Atul,

The job is running i can see it though sm50 - bg work process is occupied by the job but when i go to sm37 the relevant job is being displayed.
