QM UD batch changed to restricted status

If at the time of UD a person changes the batch status to restricted we are only seeing the 321, move from QI to unrestricted and the system does not document the 341 move to restricted in the material movemens list. Is this standard or can we do anything to have it post both movements? Business requirement is to view 341 movements and investigate as to why it was moved to restricted status.

Hi,

You are right if we post the stock to restricted use from UD stock posting screen system will not show the movement type 341.But if we change the status of restricted and unrestricted in the MSC2N transaction system updates the material movements 341 and 342 respectively.This is the standard behaviour of the system.

Do you know of a way to trigger the 341 so it is there in the material documents?

Hi,

During UD if you are set your indicator on to restricted area then system will show you only 321. the better is to provide UD and close the lot and then goto MSC2N for posting change. then system will give you 341.
