SLD objects transport

Hi,

I have one SLD for Dev and QA but diffrent SLD for Prod;

Do i need to transport SWCV and Products for QA from Dev? they share same SLD.

No. Only when the SLDs are different you transport them by exporting from the source system and importing them in the target.

one another question; i have two SWCVs(and Product associted with them);

one SWCV is tied to Business system(through Techncal system) but another is not tied;  is it necessary that the SWCV has to be tied with BS.

No. It is not mandatory as long you are okay to select the business system manually while configuring.

in my case one SWCV is tied to SAP ECC system(business sytem) in SLD and another logically to Business component, so its just hanging in SLD without any BS, so is this ok? based on your answer i think this should be fine. but asking it anyway.

thats fine , no issues,

Transport all obecjts products,SWCV .

How are you going to handle ID objects? better to create Transport Targets and groups in DEV/QA SLD so that when you move ID objects Business system name gets changed automatically.
