DMS Content Server Performance Issue..

Hello Friends,

We have recently set up a New Content Server 640 connection with ECC EHP5. We are facing issues in uploading the document like it is taking lot of time to upload. Just two days before it was working fine but suddenly from today we are facing the performace issue. We have done below mentioned activities yesterday EOD, just wanted to understand if might be a problem for the performance issue

1. The content server parameter Maxallowed Content Length was changed from 30MB( default ) to 300MB as we had some files between 250-300MB to upload.

2. Changed the parameter of log overwrite

3. Log file cleanup

4. Firewall switched off

I would appriciate if you can help me understand what might have caused this problem and how to resolve the same.

Is the problem only during uploads or reading files from content server is also taking time ?

Hello Deepak,

The time as observed is taking more during Upload only. Reading is not taking much time, it opens quickly.

Hi Sudharshan,

Please evaluate

1) network bandwidth utilization when you upload files into content server.

2) Load on the SAP system during that time

Share relevant results.

First find out where the time is spent. Is it while uploading the file (network) or while storing it (CS).
