Email Shopping cart attachments in offline approval mail to approvers

Hello All,

We are in SRM 7.0. We need to send attachments along with the offline approval mail send to approver.

We are aware that when we uncheck the 'Visible internally' flag the attachment goes along with the mail, but at the end when the SC is fully approved the attachment goes to the supplier as well.

While when we check the 'Visible internally' flag against the attachment the approver has to log into the portal to view them.

Please advise if there is a way to enhance through any BADI so that the attachment goes to the approver when 'Visible internally' is checked but not to the supplier.

Thanks for the response.

Well after we implement the advised will the mail go to the supplier once we uncheck the 'Visible internallyi flag against the attachment.

Hi Catherine,

if the attachment goes to supplier or not is decided via "Visible internally" indicator in shopping cart.

Mentioned note make changes only in the offline approval mail sending program (not in SC itself). It should not have an influence on SC attachments.

If you uncheck the flag in SC - attachment will be sent (not internal anymore).

If you set mentioned in the note parameter in the BADI to abap_true - only approval mails should be sent with internal attachments.
