System copy from SWPM without statistics deletion

Hello,

I am running test run of system copy on source system.

I would like to keep the stats in order to avoid recreating them on each trial run.

Is it possible?

If yes, I should I proceed?

Regards,

I will try export/import.

Does the export consume lots of volume in the DB?

How long does it takes on your dbs to export/import?

Thanks in advance for your answer.

Hi,

We did the export/import for one of my customers and it does take a while to create and export the stats first time, but the import is quick so saves the time for regeneration of the statistics.  It will not take space in the DB.

Graham

I believe if you are using SWPM it is not possible to skip update stats.

I dont see any option to skip the update stats.

Hi,

I hope you are doing Export..

yes, If you want you can skip Brconnect statistics update.

*please Note : It is recommended to update stats so that export runs faster.

Also after the R3load export, It will delete stats it had created in step one..

best regards

I do not want to skip the update.

I already skip it as I update with -p 32 manually.

I want to skip the deletion.
