Hello Gurus
My client has storage location Handling unit and warehouse managed with QM activated.
Following is the process:
1. GR done for material A for Purchase order which generated inbound delivery. This delivery was packed and then received in warehouse by confirming TO with PGR done.
2. Material A is now in warehouse 101 Q stock.
3. UD done for inspection lot which has triggered 321 and now material A is in unrestricted stock both in inventory (MMBE) and warehouse (LS26)
4. Material to material stock transfer done with 309 which converted material A to B with MB1B.
5. This created outbound delivery and PGI done for this delivery and now material B is in unrestricted stock in MMBE but this stock is in Q stock type in warehoue LS26.
Does anybody know why material B goes into Q in warehouse while in unrestricted in inventory.
Please confirm is this is resolved.

Did you check for Posting change notice?Check in LU04.
Can you check the configuration in
Logistics general-HUM-BASICS-Maintain Goods Movements for Handling Unit Stock-Posting
Against the movement type 309 if it is Q then it is reason for being classified as Q stock.
