No data available in BPA SM 7.1 SP8

Hi there,

I've got a problem setting up BPA in my Solution Manager 7.1 SP8. Everything seems to be ok, but when I want to view the data it tells me that there is no data in the selected timeframe available.

I followed the Setup guide. The "BPMon Transactional Data Extractor" status is green.

Another issue is, when I want to setup a monitor object, I couldn't open the value help for example "order type". The following message comes up:

Message E AGS_BPM_MSG 154 kann im Pluginmodus HTTP nicht verarbeitet werden

For any help I would be very grateful.

Best Regards

Hi Bernd

On Amalytics issue, please check following 2 points since it is typical case.

1)AKF update is not yet conducted or not connector setting is missing.

Please check connector directory whether you have connector instance definition to Analytic cube. Also conduct AKF update.

2)Please check MDX Parsa RFC connection is working in SM59

(Execute connection test to MDX RFC and check whether it works properly)

Hi,

thank you for your answer.

1) In Data Source Manager BPM_ACube status is green and active. I did an update of AKF Repository. Without success. Any other idea?

2) I've checked the mentioned RFC and got a timeout. It is not working. How can I fix it?

Thanks ahead.

Bernd

Hi Bernd

OK, in that case 1st fix MDX issue. Because this is mandetory for Analytics.

Please ask your Basis team member to fix MDX issue by following SAP Note 1032461.

After the MDX connection is fix (properly configured), try Analytics again.

If it does not works, try #1 (AKF update). Please make sure, you need to include target system in connector instance.

Hi Keiji,

that problem was the MDX issue. The librfc32.dll (Non-Unicode) was not installed on the system.

Now the RFC and BPA is working fine.

Thank you very much!

Best regards,

Bernd
