Difference Between Quality Inspection Lot Creation Date and Lot Completion date

hi,

I need to submit a report to my clinet, Number of inspection lots pending for quality inspection. When I refer QALS table both the starting date and end date it's showing same though the completion date is different.

Please guide how to do the settings, accordingly I'll get the actual date of lot completion.

Hi,

In material master when you assign a inspection type you have average inspection duration field.This field should be filled in number of days.How many days it takes to lear the inspection lot.If for example it takes 2 days then your inspection start date will be the lot creation date and the end date will be 2 days later.If you do not maintain this field in material master the start date and end date will be the same.
