Hi Edy,

While defining job in sm36 you can provide

Exec. Target server once the job start it will run on particular server.

Hi Atul,

I meant not from sm36 but from program (execution in background).

Do you have any idea?

Thanks

Hi Edy,

You may ask the user to schedule the jobs 5 mins later instead of immediate execute option.

Then go to SM37.

Select the job name

from the Menu Job-> Change job.

Add the entry for Execution Server and save the job.

Select Start Options - > Select Immediate to start the job.

It will now run on the server selected which should be CI in your case.

Hi Edy,

Incase you are using Program ->Execute in background option, direct assignment of Execution server is not possible.

Hence you need to follow the steps as described above.
