Cross Docking for Production orders in WM

Hi All,

There is a requirement for cross docking the parts upon receipt at the dock(101 or 501) to storage type Cross Dock.

But the criteria for cross dock should be the parts are short or missing on Production order.

I have been investigating the standard function of cross docking in WM and have activated the  Business function EA-SCM extension set 2.0

to get the cross dock monitor and the configurations in IMG.

As per the system till now I have observed that I can link the inbound and outbound deliveries.

Is there a way of linking the parts which are short on Production order with the inbound delivery or TR. If yes what will be the candidate document.

Dear Athar ,

I think you need to maintain missing part information in the stock out table for crossdocking  , so once material is received  it  will ask to you to dock it to your direct destination.
