Sales Office wise sales Tax Registration no & CST No.

Hi Experts ,

Our client has state wise sales offices , so need to maintain Sales Tax Regi. No & CST no. for the same.

I found one way to maintain the same in J1ID, but if I do not want to consider the Sales Office as my Delivering Plant.

Then in this case where we can maintain the CST & ST no. for the sales offices.

Is it mandatory to treat each & every of sales office as a Delivery Plant ?

I have searched the forum , but I do not find any answer to this question.

Hi Nilesh,

Even I had this problem. To achieve this I activated business place and assign the business place to sales office.

Path: Cross-Application Components - General Application Functions - Business Place - Activate Business Place - Define Business Places.

If you don't want to do this, then have a Z table with the combination of sales office - CST no - ST No. And use that table for all your sales tax reports and Invoice printing purpose.
