you cannot use this transaction type to post to this asset in cj88

Dear all,

While executing CJ88(Actual settlement of projects) for project

we are getting error message(you cannot use this transaction type to post to this asset).

We are facing same error message in other projects also.

Due to this we are unable to clear Project expense GL for FY 2012 and Financial statement is pending due to this.

HI,

Check OAYB wherein specification of asset classes is define or not if not then define then execute settlement by cj88.

Hello Prasad,

Check transaction type group settings in OAYB.

Also refer Note 301587 - Settlement to fixed asset: AA834 w/ down pymts w/ balance 0

Hi Parsad :

PLease check the your Asset transaction type settings ,As system derive it automatically based on settlement.I also advised to check your depreciation areas setting as it should be All type allowed for Asset Acqusition.

I will like to have further insightful of the process flow with numbers in order to guide you accordingly
