Multiple Specifications

Hallo Gurus,

I have created a new material which has Multiple specs allowed, I have allotted an inspection plan to it and then created the Multiple Specs in the EWB.

When I try to do an Inspection Lot (QA01), the system says no inspection plan it allotted to the material.

Material Master seems to be Ok, 01 active and  the EWB shows an inspection plan under this material with multiple specs.

What could i be doing wrong any suggestions ?

Kindest Regards

SG

Hi,

For the multiple specifications try assigning the material in the EWB.If material assignment is not done you will get this error.

So now I have posted all the screen sho ts one after the other that could be relevant to proove that the Multiple Inspections are active and that the Task List is alloted to the material for which I am trying to generate and inpsection lot.

I will be obliged if some one could kindly tell me where am I going wrong ?

Kind Regards

HI S G

1.Have you ticked  Multiple Spec at Header Level of Task list in Quality Tab in EWB.

2. Go to Material Tasklist Assignment in EWB and assign every object of each object type to that material.

3. Check the task list usage of inspection type and your plan too.

Hello Maheshawaran,

The multiple spericification setting in Customising is active. I can also see the MutipleSpecs box ticked in the material master.

The multiple specifications  were created on the basis  the Objects that are already defined in the system.

The multiple specs are definitely there since I can see two specs as subsets to the MIC in the Eng Work Bench.

I read some where that the date of validity of the Task List should predate that inspection plan. I am not sure if this is a solution, but I don''t understand how this could be achieved ?

I would be obliged if you could kindly share your valuable experience.
