shadow instance during java only instance upgrade

Dears,

I'm doing an upgrade on a Java only instance (on Unix platform) and I have problems with the shadow instance.

I have to restart it manually but I'm uanbel to find out how.

On the upgrade manual there nothing about it.

I know with ABAP instances it's possible to use the "SAPup startshd / stopshd" command but it does not work in my case.

Beside I expect to run the SAPJup command, but it does not exist nowhere under the SUM directory

Under the SUM directory exists only the SAPup  under the SUM\abap directory.

Hi Roberto,  Could you try to use the following command Login with sidadm stopsap JC  startsap JC where NR= instance number for shadow instance.  Regards, Deepak Kori
